The head office of The Family Systems Institute is located in Neutral Bay but we do use a number of locations from time to time.

A link to the specific location for your workshop, seminar, group or conference can be found with the date and time details of each event.  These locations are shown below.

Grosvenor Cottage (FSI Head Office)

Grosvenor CottageGrosvenor Cottage is the main office of the Family Systems Institute.  Many of our workshops are conducted here.

The cottage was built in 1903 with its first tenant being a mariner. While it has been fitted out as a modern training centre, it has retained its old world charm and homely ambience.

Meter parking is available on Grosvenor Street; and regular bus services from the city, the Northern Beaches, and North Sydney, St. Leonards, and Chatswood (all on Sydney's North Shore train line) stop a block away on Military Road (at Neutral Bay Junction or Watson Street).

There is also a regular ferry service from Circular Quay to Neutral Bay or Cremorne Point wharves with a connecting bus that takes you to Neutral Bay Junction (a very pleasant and contemplative way to start or finish your training).

There a large number of good quality eating venues, catering to a wide variety or tastes, within close proximity.

The Neutral Bay Club

Venue:  The Neutral Bay Club

Address:  3 Westleigh Street, Neutral Bay

Buses:  Neutral Bay is easily accessed by public transport.  Express buses run regularly from Wynard to Neutral Bay Junction.  (Bus nos. 243, 244, 245, 246, 247).  There are also direct buses from North Sydney, Chatswood, Manly and the Northern Beaches.

Parking:  There is some onsite parking available and street parking, however this is popular with commuters, so you may wish to leave enough time to secure an all day parking spot.

St Alban's Church Five Dock

Our new Five Dock office is located at 173 Great North Rd. Our rooms are on the second floor of the old Rectory next to St Alban's Church. They are across the road from Civic Video.

The church car park is private but there is ample parking on Great North Road and surrounding side streets.

All bookings for Five Dock go through our central number at Neutral Bay (9904 5600).

St Augustine's Church - Hall

Venue:  St Augustine's Church Hall (downstairs)

Address:  St. Augustine’s is located at 75 Shellcove Road in Neutral Bay. We’re at the very top of the road, at the junction with Wycombe Road.

Buses:  Neutral Bay is easily accessed by public transport.  Express buses run regularly from Wynard to Neutral Bay Junction.  (Bus nos. 243, 244, 245, 246, 247).  There are also direct buses from North Sydney, Chatswood, Manly and the Northern Beaches.

Ferry:  Approximately 800m walk from Hayes Street Wharf, Neutral Bay to St Augustine's Church.

Parking:  There is street parking, however this is popular with commuters, so you may wish to leave enough time to secure an all day parking spot.

"The Centre" is located:

  • 3 mins to Randwick Shopping Centre
  • 5 mins to Fox Studios
  • 5 mins to Prince of Wales hospital
  • 5 mins to UNSW campus

And on the main bus routes to Circular Quay, Railway Square, Bondi Junction, Coogee Beach and the airport.

Mary MacKillop Place Conference Centre, North Sydney

Mary MacKillop Place Conference Centre is located at the top end of Mount Street North Sydney (not far from Victoria Cross - the major road intersection with Pacific Hwy and Miller Streets). It is located at 7 Mount Street, North Sydney. Isabel Menton Theatre accessed directly off Mount Street.  Lochaber Centre located within the grounds of Mary MacKillop Place Conference Centre.
